The ViVa Players Present: Mommie Dearest, a staged reading.
September 6, 7, and 8, at q-Staff Theatre. 400 Broadway Blvd SE.
The ViVa Players, have been delighting Albuquerque audiences with family-friendly entertainment for over 90 years. They currently hold the international record for consecutive annual productions of “Arsenic and Old Lace.”
Under the new, visionary artistic direction of Toto Pendragon, however, the Players have been branching out into edgier territory. And they seem to have developed a real knack for choosing wildly inappropriate projects.
This season includes a series of staged readings celebrating the “greatest” films of all time. Tonight’s presentation: Mommie Dearest.
September 6 & 7 Doors open at 7:00 pm. Reading begins at 7:30 pm
September 8. Doors open at 1:30 pm. Reading begins at 2:00 pm
