Promenade Albuquerque

In November q-Staff theater will premier Promenade Albuquerque!

Promenade was originated by Stereo Akt of Budapest Hungary.  An original work created in and around the streets of Budapest subtitled Promenade: Urban Fate Tourism, the audience boards a bus and is driven around the city streets watching the performance unfold.

A popular and critical success Stereo Akt was brought by the Center for International Theatre Development and the Trust for Mutual Understanding to Baltimore MD to work with Single Carrot Theater to create Promenade Baltimore.  While the Baltimore production followed the same form and structure as the original it was completely different in content having been created by local communities and artists  for and about Baltimore. Selling out almost completely and voted one of the best performances of 2016 in Baltimore, Promenade was again a huge hit.

Now Promenade is coming to Albuquerque.  q-Staff is proud to be working with Stereo Akt and partnering with Working Classroom to bring this unique and magical performance to our city.  The bus will leave from q-Staff and journey throughout Albuquerque with scenes and visions arising along the way that will let the audience experience our wonderful city in a brand new way.
